ZAKAT
This program supports widowed women with no source of income by providing startup business opportunities, skills training, and therapeutic empowerment seminars. These initiatives help restore dignity, build sustainable livelihoods, and secure stable futures—while improving the wellbeing and protection of the children who depend on them.

Our initiatives encompass Zakat, Sadaqah (Charitable Giving)Sadaqah Wajibah and Sadaqah Jariyah/Nafila to directly assist those in need, Akika to celebrate newborns through shared food with families of limited resources, Shifa (Healing) to provide medical assistance to those facing health challenges, Shukuru (Gratitude) to cultivate a culture of kindness and sharing, Bajram/Eid Adha to enable underprivileged individuals to partake in Eid celebrations through essential support, and Adaka Kurban to facilitate offerings and share meat and traditions with those in need, turning Islamic principles into impactful actions that uplift communities.

OUR IMPACT
Since the inception of our organization, we have managed to positively impact

Bilal Musoke -An Orphan Child Supported Through Our Care Program
After losing my parents and being separated from my family during the civil war in Karamoja, I was stranded, living on the streets with no one to care for me. Through FFAD’s support, I am now able to go to school, eat well, and feel safe. I have hope for my future and dream of becoming someone who helps others. I am truly thankful to FFAD for taking care of me like family.

After losing my husband and being wheelchair-bound, I struggled to provide for my children.
